Standard Requirements for all Provider Positions:

  • At least 18 years of age.
  • Possession of a valid Wisconsin driver's license, or if licensed out of state, the ability to obtain a Wisconsin Class D driver's license.
  • Possession of a valid Wisconsin EMT license at the Basic or Intermediate Technician (AEMT) level or above, or the ability to obtain one prior to start of work.
  • Possession of a valid BLS for the Healthcare Provider card or the equivalent.
  • National Registry is not required, but is encouraged.

Positions available:


Mauston Area Ambulance is looking to add one full-time and additional part-time positions within our organization. Mauston Area EMS is a small community-based EMS System that has transitioned over the last few years to a career-oriented department. Our service provides primary 911 coverage for a large portion of Juneau County, as well as ALS Intercept and Community Based Inter-Facility Transfer Services. Our "Consistent Quality Care" concept revolves around the Service Director's vision of maintaining high quality personnel effectively trained to consistently do the right thing regarding patient care and patient advocacy. We are currently looking to fill the following vacancies:

  •  One immediate full-time Paramedic or EMT/AEMT position. (Salary Range of $34,112 - 53,747 per year).

  •  Additional part-time EMT/AEMT & Paramedic positions. (Salary Range of $10.25-15.00/hr.)
